The closing of your sale involves another series of steps, distinct from those in the purchase closing. Once you have agreed to sell your home your real estate agent will prepare a binding Agreement of Purchase and Sale between you and the buyer.

  • Review documents provided by the purchaser's lawyer.
  • Obtain a key to the property.
  • Disburse funds on your behalf to the real estate commission, mortgages, legal fees and to you after closing, typically on the same day.
